Jon Valley - Pianist/Singer/Songwriter/Multi-instrumentalist/Producer

Jon Valley is a pianist/singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/producer from the St. Louis area.  Kept off the concert stage for nearly 20 years due to severe arm injuries... he returned to music with his debut album, "This House of Cookies" released via Fervid Seed Records, January 2nd, 2014.  It was recorded over the course of 4 years with Jon playing all the instruments and making most of the noises/sounds himself and, of course, producing, engineering and mixing it as well.  It was well received and played all across the country on College, and Community Radio stations as well as a feature on "Out in the Bay" on San Francisco's NPR affiliate.

He then returned to the concert stage, playing his first live show in many years.  He can been seen in concert frequently now days around the St. Louis area.

His albums work on 2 levels.  First and foremost, they are self contained albums which make complete sense on their own.  Secondly, most of the songs on each album will belong to "The Piano Warrior", a greater concept album/audio puzzle that will be slowly constructed over the course of his career in a new and exciting format as explained on "The Concept" page on his website.

Though his albums are lavishly produced with full band, he currently performs as a pianist/singer/songwriter live in concert.  Giving intense and personal interpretations of his album material with nothing more than his piano and his voice.

He started receiving offers to perform live after venues heard him on radio.

He has been working on his new album "Pacific Communication" for the past 2 years.  It will be first available at shows starting Feb 20, 2016... much earlier on digital and radio.

On January 18, 2016 tracks on Pacific Communication airplay began receiving airplay on KDHX... as copies of the album had been sent out to radio stations across the country the previous weekend.
