The Ballad Of Zack And Jessica: This song tells its own story… but I will say the the grey area of the timeline represents the timeline of the song… the awakening of Jessica’s sexuality through the open days of Zack and Jessica’s. Point “A” on the chart represents the point at which the Main Character meets Jessica (before Jessica meets Zack) when a coworker brings her, his daughter, to work. And, Point “B” represents the point at which the Main Character meets Zack, when his coworker bring both Zack and Jessica to work to “help” him with his contracting job.
Note: As an amusing side-fact… in an earlier incarnation of the this 25 minute song, it and another song on This House Of Cookies (not to be named at this time) were both subsections of an intended hour-long song called “The Mating Habits Of Poor White Trash.” I dismantled that song and vultured its parts for the sake of the plot line of The Piano Warrior. Perhaps, as a deleted scene-type of thing, someday I may reassemble it for the sake of the curious (no promises, though as that would take me 6 months to a year to reassemble and to finish it… and that’s a long time to spend on a deleted scene… lol).
